At Animal Nepal, our journey over the past decades has been guided by a simple yet profound belief: all animals deserve a life free from pain, suffering, and exploitation. Since our founding in 2009, we have worked tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, and protect animals across Nepal, while raising awareness and advocating for systemic change in animal welfare policies.
Our work has shown us that true progress comes not only from rescuing individual animals but also from preventing suffering before it occurs. Through initiatives such as Animal Birth Control programs, rabies prevention, humane farming advocacy, and community engagement, we strive to create lasting change in the lives of animals and the communities they live in.
Education and awareness remain at the heart of our efforts. By inspiring compassion in children, students, professionals, and the wider public, we hope to nurture a society that respects and values all living beings. At the same time, we continue to work closely with government bodies, veterinary professionals, and local communities to strengthen laws, implement standards, and promote a culture of responsibility and care.
While the challenges are significant, every life saved, every mind changed, and every act of compassion gives us hope. It is this collective effort—from our team and volunteers to our supporters both in Nepal and around the world—that empowers us to envision a future where Nepal becomes a model country for animal welfare in the region.
On behalf of everyone at Animal Nepal, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to our partners, supporters, and well-wishers who make this work possible. Together, we can continue to create a world where animals are treated with the respect, dignity, and care they deserve.
